The Role of the Family and

The willingness of family to actively participate in the rehabilitation
process is crucial to each patient's success. Family, in fact, plays
a critical role on the brain injury team. Regular meetings with
family as well as the referring physician are necessary to ensure
achievement of community reintegration goals. Program staff has
the necessary experience to work with health care professionals
as well as families and are adept at meeting the diverse needs of
both. To ensure ongoing communication, progress reports are provided
regularly by program therapists to referring physicians.

Up to six hours of therapy can be provided Monday through Friday.
Length and intensity of the program is based upon physician prescription
and individual needs. Individual and/or group treatment is available.
